Solution:Positive was appointed as Building Services Consultants by XL Joinery to advise on the Mechanical & Electrical Building Services for the bespoke fit-out of their impressive new 6acre site, including a 140,000 sq ft warehouse with production workshops and 15,000 sq ft head office. Located next to the M621 motorway in Birstall, the state-of-the-art offices and distribution warehouse enables XL Joinery to distribute their products throughout the UK to some of the most prestigious Builders Merchants and Retail outlets. Solution:Positive advised XL Joinery on their infrastructure requirements and negotiated on their behalf with the Distribution Network Operator for an increased electricity supply capacity to accommodate their plans for continued expansion. An increase in the supply capacity was achieved at no cost to XL Joinery.
