The conversion of the 2-storey Springfield Court from offices previously occupied by AQA (the Assessment and Qualifications Alliance) included the addition of a second floor to provide 35 luxury apartments over three floors.
The spacious apartments on the second
floor benefited from large dormer
windows and roof lights, allowing the accommodation to be “flooded” with natural light and drawing the eye to uninterrupted views of the Harrogate skyline. The conversion included the addition of passenger lifts within an
external glazed façade to the front elevation of the residential building.
Solution:Positive was appointed to develop a services strategy to meet the requirements of the Clients brief, including the development and procurement of new utility infrastructure to serve the new apartments, with capacity to support the proposed second phase development to construct 27 new-build apartments.
